Gary Cottam
Chief Executive Officer
Gary is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Doublespark. With 16 years’ experience in the world of internet design and SEO, some might call him a veteran of the industry. We just call him boss and bow to his experience and track record working with some of the country’s largest blue chip companies. Gary cut his project management teeth in the world of critical live medical data; a testimony to his ability to project manage some of the most complex and demanding projects with ease. Gary is the driving force behind Doublespark and its adoption of new technologies. Every project is personally overseen by our CEO who remains the main point of contact for all clients.
Leigh Titman
Creative Director
Leigh brings fresh, inspiring design ideas to the Doublespark table. With a strong agency and publishing design background, our Creative Director has produced outstanding work for some of the country’s leading retail brands. Leigh works to deliver the core principles of good design with new creative thinking, giving every Doublespark project the benefit of quality design and a consistent branded approach. Leigh’s strength in branding led to the creation of his own creative agency which runs in tandem with Doublespark. This gives our clients access to a much broader platform of design knowledge than many other specialist web agencies.
Jamie Devine
Web Developer and CMS Wizz
Jamie is the go-to guy for our class-leading content management system, Contao. A background in the music industry meant Jamie quickly got to grips with building MySpace themes and a longer career as a freelancer helped him develop an enduring understanding of web standards. Solid experience of designing for mobile devices and smartphones has benefitted many clients and Jamie is well known as an app developer in his own right. Jamie provides a safety net for projects with his ability to future-proof client sites using the latest HTML5 and CSS3 technologies.
Richard Petersen
SEO & Social Media Guru
Richard was brought on board in 2009 to lead the SEO team and oversee strategies for our clients. A background in print design and a solid track record in SEO caught our attention back then - he’s been a valuable asset ever since. Particularly well versed in producing link bait (content designed to encourage links to client sites), Richard manages projects with a good commercial eye, and a proven ability to improve client’s income whilst reducing PPC charges. Richard brings current SEO best practice to client projects both in terms of site structure and optimisation, and is very well versed in Google analytics.

Helen is our resident in-house article and press release distribution guru. An expert in social bookmarking, Helen helps our clients’ increase their targeted traffic and organic rankings by leveraging all bookmarking has to offer. Helen has a wealth of experience in creating search engine friendly content for our clients; helping push their sites to the number one spot. Product and customer reviews are essential in managing online reputation and in gaining Google Map listings, and Helen is our expert in this field.
Lucy O'Leary

Lucy’s critical role in identifying and acquiring competitor links for our clients pays dividends in achieving high rankings for chosen keywords.
